When Barc Simpson died, so did his company

Pros

Casual dress work environment, extremely generous benefits when compared to similar companies. For the most part, everyone is helpful and supportive of one another.

Cons

The company has shifted from feeling like one big happy family to just another corporate entity, especially now that Barc Simpson has passed on. Branch management now seems to be much more concerned about the numbers and the bottom line than about the customers, users, and the people within the company. Employees are now subject to more write-ups and disciplinary action than ever before if they adversely affect the numbers, and that goes for both rookies AND veterans. The once-generous profit sharing has shrunk significantly in recent years, thanks in part to the company's new seeming obsession, buying up and absorbing other companies. Cronyism is rampant like it never was before. Barc would be ashamed of what's become of the company that bears his name.

Pros

High profits, self absorbed culture, toxic environment

Cons

I can guarantee you that the good to great reviews are from HR & CORP cronies that are trying to look good. This company is rotten to its core. The culture is “watch your back”. It started shortly after Barclay died and got worse. Ask any of the employees in California, trust me. Everyone is smiling only because they are scared and being watched! Quietly they will tell you from corporate through management no one knows what they are doing. Ask their customers, even the customers complain and nothing gets fixed. So sad!

Pros

They all just seem to escape me right now...but see below...

Cons

HR has not idea what is happening. I hear I've been here 20, 30, 40 years but guess what... still cant get it right so that means 1 of 2 things either you didn't know your job to begin with OR you still have not learned it...
