Pros

I've been working at Root3 for 5 years now (first as a full-time employee and now as a part-time employee). From day one, I've felt welcomed and supported by both my colleagues and management. Root3 was very accommodating to my new life situation with two kids and offered me a flexible work model which I appreciate. If you're looking for a company that values its employees, promotes growth, and fosters a positive work environment, Root3 is the right place for you!

Cons

None that I can think of

Pros

Coworkers were supportive and kind. Learned valuable information. There's an office dog.

Cons

Too few clients, lost one single client then laid off people. Management has a gossip centered attitude and constantly resort to favoritism. "HR" is one person which is completely unacceptable for a company.

Thank you for your feedback about your experience. Supporting our team, maintaining transparency, and valuing everyone’s contribution are of the utmost importance at ROOT3. We believe in open communication and practice it consistently through an open-door policy and by sharing insights into new business, new opportunities, and when warranted, lost business. Staffing changes and layoffs are never automatic; not now, not ever. To those impacted by a layoff in 2023, ROOT3 provided a compensation package, resume support, business introductions, interview coaching, and referrals to make the transition as seamless as possible. All business and staffing decisions are objective, based on performance and merit, to ensure fairness for everyone. HR is not managed by a single person at R3. Human resource functions are executed by specialists in payroll, policy, finance, insurance, and benefits; and outsourced experts are readily available to every team member.

Pros

Great colleagues The pace of work makes anywhere else feel like a cakewalk I gained experience that led me to my current role but with a price

Cons

Working here you will learn a lot. I learned how to turn out large amounts of work in short periods of time with fly-by-your-seat timelines and processes. I learned not to take passive aggression and gossip from superiors personally. I learned that their loud efforts toward workplace culture and employee happiness were only for social posts and keeping up appearances. Since I’ve left and joined other teams it has confirmed that the way I felt while working there wasn’t normal, even in corporate America. I wouldn’t be in my current position without my time there. If I was looking for a short-term job to get experience and some real-time examples of how not to manage a team, I’d work there. If I was looking for stability, job satisfaction, or to avoid burnout, I would pass.
