      The worst company

      Pros

      Work life balance if you enjoy not working and pretending or shuffling papers left and right.

      Cons

      Boring. Lacks culture. Lacks team building. Not strategy, clear structure. Just people running around pretending to be busy. Striving for average results. Leadership are self centred. There is no talent there and they will cut people and not give them a heads up or communicate with the rest of the business that it is happening. A shonky set of redundancies, based on popularity.

      A great company

      Pros

      Philips has a terrific work culture where leaders encourage customer first/patient safety and quality first approach rather than focussing on $. The company employs a diverse range of employees (age, gender, experience) and does a good job respecting their people at all levels.

      Cons

      Personally for me, I have been struggling to see any progress in my role transition/salary revision even though my role has expanded exponentially over the last 18 months.

      Pros

      I'm sure in some parts of the business, things are great.

      Cons

      So much politics and backstabbing. People make decisions based on agendas instead of what's best for the company. Folks in the Netherlands are completely oblivious to the frustration of, say, receiving meeting invites for 2am local time.
