Pros

Learned some systems that were useful. Met some interesting people. Noted a personality type that is more inclined to succeed under that style of matrix management

Cons

Although engaged in a small community that is very reliant on the resort that Merlin owned, they focussed on solely on what London thought was necessary. Profit, profit, profit. Minimal reinvestment in the asset.

Pros

being able to get coupons for free entry to attractions. Not unlimited coupons, you had work for them...

Cons

We weren't provided with the right technology to do our job effectively, making the work load ten times more stressful than it should have been. We worked overtime just to manage to attractions inboxes and all for Marketing to cut our hours in half because they didn't feel our job was worth much. Pretty sure it's important for customers to have a good customer service experience...CRM, CRM, CRM

Pros

Pretty good place to work great experience and lots of learning. Overall nice people who work hard.

Cons

Who you know not what you know. There are clear favourites and the company values profit at the expense of all else including employee welfare and guest experience. Constant reshuffles, restructures and redundancies to cut costs, before rehiring back shortly after - so there’s a lot of instability always. Not specific to covid times, endemic to the company overall. Some great leaders and some terrible ones. People don’t always last long, and they don’t always get rid of the right people.
