Pros
I've been with Brahmin Leather Works for over a year and a half, and I've really come to appreciate the work-life balance here. It's not just something they talk about—it's something you actually feel. People have the flexibility to take care of their personal lives without feeling like they're sacrificing their work, which is pretty rare these days.
The team I work with is genuinely awesome. There's a strong sense of teamwork and mutual respect. Everyone listens to each other, and there's no ego or dismissing ideas. I've worked with different departments, and it's clear that everyone's input is valued. The feedback you get is constructive and based on real experience, which I find super helpful.
One of the things that is different about Brahmin is that even though it's a big company, it still has that mom-and-pop vibe. There's this close-knit, supportive atmosphere.
It's also really nice to work for a company led by women and that embraces diversity. You can see how this positively impacts the company culture and how employees are treated.
Cons
One area where I think Brahmin could improve is the health insurance options—they’re on the pricier side. It would also be great if the company offered some help with gym memberships or other wellness programs.
