The talent team emailed me directly to confirm I was still interested. Then they sent an email to provide availability. There were no available time slots so I let them know and they let me do a virtual interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Aritzia (Vancouver, BC) in May 2026
Interview
I had a zoom call with the HR person, and it lasted about 30 minutes. It felt like the person was rushing through the questions, so I am not sure if she was really listening. I didn't go through, but there was no clear explanation why I was rejected.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and how your experience relates to this role?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aritzia
Interview
I had three interviews total. First was over Zoom… pretty neutral and lasted under 30 minutes. My second interview was in store and was over an hour long. My third interview was in store for about 15 minutes where I had met executives from Aritzia. Keep in mind this was all for a barista position. Following week, I received a generic email telling me that I had not received the position. Personally, I just feel like it was a waste of my time especially regarding the second interview where I also had to wait for the store manager (which was about 30 minutes while the cafe manager spoke to me in the meantime) to talk to me and she was looking at her phone the entire time and seemed disinterested. I had been a big fan of the brand for a while and this left a bad taste in my mouth.
