While Simpson Strong-Tie is growing like crazy, the culture is something that is very solid here. No matter what branch you walk into, everyone is so welcoming and helpful! Regardless if you have been there for 3 weeks or 30 years, I feel comfortable speaking up or conversing with these individual. They truly invest in their people too through different training courses that are offered.

We talk quite a bit about promoting from within, however I feel like there are some areas of the business that don't see as much growth opportunities out there. On the other hand, there are a ton of departments that do see a ton of movement because there are more avenues for them to explore.

The recent hiring trends within the company. While there are opportunities for low-paying positions, it's important to be aware that these openings come at the cost of terminating higher-paying roles. This shift may affect job security and long-term career growth.

The direction the company appears to be heading in to seems that the corporate environment is becoming increasingly toxic, with individuals prioritizing profit over integrity. The value of genuine expertise and experience is being overshadowed by a focus on hollow credentials and superficial qualifications. This is undermining the dignity and legacy of what was once a respected giant in the industry the company's reputation and core values are in question.
