At Carter’s, Pride Month is an opportunity to honor the history and ongoing journey of the LGBTQIA+ community while reaffirming our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all. Over five decades ago, the stand against injustice at the Stonewall Inn became a powerful symbol of unity, resilience, and the fight for equal rights. Today, Pride represents not only parades and celebrations but also a tribute to those who have paved the way and a call to continue challenging inequality. As a company dedicated to supporting all families and children, we recognize the importance of inclusivity and respect in everything we do. This month serves as a powerful reminder that every individual deserves the freedom to live and love openly, without fear or discrimination. Pride at Carter’s is about celebrating diversity, championing self-expression, and standing together to create a world where everyone feels valued and empowered.
At Carter's, we are proud to celebrate Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) and Asian Heritage Month. Throughout this month, we will highlight employees as we take time to reflect on and celebrate the lasting impact of AANHPI and Asian communities across North America. Today, John Chan shares what AANHPI Heritage month means to him. What does AANHPI Heritage Month mean to you?

This month is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (or AAPI Heritage Month) which began in the United States as a week-long celebration and expanded to a month in 1992. In Canada, May is designated as Asian Heritage Month, which was officially recognized in 2002. During this month, we honor and celebrate the rich heritage and contributions of individuals from these diverse backgrounds. According to the Federal Asian Pacific American Council, the theme for 2024 in the U.S. is ‘Advancing Leaders throughs Opportunity,’ which underscores the Asian community’s innovation, resilience, and pioneering spirit demonstrated through ingenuity and creativity. #lifeatcarters
Join us in celebrating the incredible achievements of trailblazing women who've paved the path for progress. 🌟 Making a Difference at Carter's! 🌟 Last week, Carter’s employees came together to pack Black History Month inspired educational kits for youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. Each kit contained an inspirational book, crayons, coloring pages and puzzle featuring Black leaders, and a snack. By providing these resources, our employees were not just packing items but planting seeds of inspiration. They were laying the foundation for the next generation to embrace equality and celebrate diversity. #lifeatcarters
