Pros

There are no pros to this job. LITERALLY. Low base and lies about earning commission. (Commission is there selling point people). I guess a pro could be i can JUST pay my rent, on my credit card.

Cons

Management are not equipped to be in the positions they are in. Throughout my time at NF (so far) I have found management to be completely unprofessional. Let me elaborate. - They discuss and degrade staff members in front of other members. - They force us to work 12 hour days while we are paid for 9 hours. If you leave prior to 8pm it is extremely frowned upon. - There is absolutely bullying of team members by management. I don't know where they learned this was a management technique. - I took 1 sick day last year.. Advice to people wanting to remain at this company. Don't. - Drug culture influenced by management. - Pressure to drink outside of work. Last think you want to do is spend time off with people who you are with all week 12 hours a day. Company Cons: - Management (Major). - No infrastructure to deal with the so called "growth". - No morale. - Low pay. 1 person in the office who actually makes decent commission. - Management's treatment of staff. - The small/packed space. - The stuffy room. - Management have come from England. They are completely brainwashed by the company owners "way of life" and fail to be able to think for themselves. Yea, drug's and alcohol were great when I was 16. Im not anymore. I really don't know how they believe the bull they are feed, and try to feed us. In the last month we have lost a third of the office. This has made the rest of us really consider why we are still here. There is a poor atmosphere (understatement).

Pros

Will hire almost anybody due to high turnover. The base salary is just enough to support you until you inevitably leave the company, and if you are lucky enough to make comission you might be able to trade your happiness and morality for cash. Their claim is if you last long enough, you can make hundreds of thousands of dollars, but they only do so at the expense of their staff and customers.

Cons

- Terrible standing in the industry. The trick to success is finding a client who hasn't heard of NFI and convincing them to hand over the cash. Management encourages you to make placements at any cost, which leaves few repeat customers. - Managers care more about what time you come and go than maintaining a healthy workplace. Severely frowned upon to leave at a reasonable time or to take any time off. Management attitude can range from apathetic to mildly abusive. - Culture is non existent aside from excessive drinking at *non*compulsory after work events. Doesn't help that 1/3 of the office has quit in the last three months.

We’re sincerely sorry that you feel you didn’t enjoy your time at Nigel Frank. We pride ourselves on offering a supportive culture that rewards work and honesty, so it’s a shame that you had this experience. We would have liked to have spoken with you about your frustrations and provide additional support to help you to hit targets and take advantage of our uncapped commission. We do offer incentives to keep our employees motivated, such as lunch clubs and early finish incentives when targets are hit. We want our employees to enjoy their job and for our employees to have a work life balance. Wishing you all the best in your future career.
