      Pros

      This was my first job in Melbourne and I was not having any choice due to lack of local experience.

      Cons

      Pay you very less as compare to market. Offer you one-two level lower position if you don't have local experience Basically a body shopping company, who make money by placing you to their clients. If your feedback is good - it means you have saved your job; otherwise you are out... Management don't care about employees. Forget about appraisals... They need only low wage employee to make more profits

      they paid me money, if you get a decent boss, it might be ok (I didn't)

      abysmal management, terrible processes, bullying, claim to provide training, social activities, etc, but saw no evidence. Unwillingness to consider new ideas or different ways of doing things. Team leads with no idea how to lead or manage, and who have very little in the way of technical skills. My team lead spent most of her time web surfing, and bullying people

      Oppurtinuity to work with multiple clients and sectors, like any other consultancy firm

      Cons

      Bad attitude of management towards employees. Planit is a sweat shop. Have lots of 'boot campers' who are paid peanuts and most of them are extremely dissatisfied. There exists a lots of 'consultants' and 'seniors' who are not willing to do any real work except show off and Excell sheet manipulation. Office is a cramped shed with not even proper toilets !!! Planit job advt says great company culture which means can drink a few beers occasionally, nothing more. Training opportunities - nothing really to boast about, most standard companies provide it. Overtime - not really, there are loop holes. For eg. Fixed price projects
