Pros

The people I work with

Cons

Bad culture at the top. The CEO intimidates people and creates a toxic environment (yells, swears, is unappreciative, mean). We heard him say "he doesn't give a .... about the employees" when he was yelling at someone, who has now left, this is typical. People try to avoid talking to him, he is a bully. We work long hours and are not appreciated They lied to us and told us we could participate in the IPO, but then we were not allowed to. Nothing to look forward to now the IPO is over Lots of good people leaving

Pros

Some genuine and talented people still left Great technology

Cons

A LOT of office dramas and politics for a medium-sized company. I've seen group CEO yell at employees a number of times when I walked past his office, it's pretty much his way or the high way. Management is notorious for investing a fortune in their own 'business' travels (think fine-dining meals, activities and unnecessary work trips..) but cutting corners when it comes to investing in employees and products. Great talents are leaving left to right because of toxic culture and poor management on top of constant layoffs even before COVID-19, which is putting more pressure on existing employees to work with limited resources to deliver unrealistic outcomes. Nuix is running everyone into the ground, a lot of people are looking to leave Nuix as soon as job market opens up. Not worth your time even during this period.

Pros

A great product, good people still remain. Work life balance is good, but working with colleagues across the pacific can make this challenging.

Cons

Leadership continue to hire expensive friends who cannot get a job elsewhere. The result is a lacklustre leadership team that has no idea what the company actually does, and they’re too egotistical or narcissistic to find out. They are completely out of touch with the average employee and have no idea what a tech company should behave like. Jonathan Rubinsztein cannot string a sentence together, let alone a strategy. The board made a great, costly mistake hiring him. They would probably do something about it if they weren’t busy defending themselves against lawsuits. No benefits to speak of. Management trying to force people into the bland office, without much luck. With the current decline in revenue, legal costs adding, CFO pay check, cash fast running out, Nuix will be unable to pay employees soon enough.
