Toxic culture and a great divide between management and employees

Pros

There are many great people who work here, completely unrewarded for everything they do but fantastic support even in a bad situation.

Cons

The work culture is atrocious. A mix of management internal power plays, total ignorance of employee needs, minimal reward, poor (virtually non-existent) career progression, constant daily chaos with every single thing that happens on a daily basis, zero innovation (constantly playing catch-up but already 5 years behind).

Pros

There are no pros here. I have always liked working here but the last few years have not been as good.

Cons

Fujitsu sent out pay rises this week....they are in fact pay decreases. They changed everyone's hours to 38 at tbe same time. My hourly rate went down ! Disgusting Fujitsu. Do you understand the damage you have done to the relationship with your employees?.

Worse Leadership

Pros

There is a nice coffee machine but the lady supposed to introduce to the coffee machine no longer work there.

Cons

The mid level managers are good for talking and self caring by nature. The upper level management is like, denial-of-services attack in IT terminology. Everything goes to upper management and stay there forever. Upper management made no decision in past 20 years. To make matters worse management doesn't participate new business opportunities in Australia. The architects and senior engineers pretend that they are the best but the bottom feeder is over worked with under pay. SDMs are good for youtube surfing and waits for customer's KO emails then wake-up and panic rather than proactive to resolve any issues. Company culture is not to act rather than re-act when things happen I have serious doubt that this Japanese company understand the gravity of situation until they become sushi sales expert
