Pros

The only good thing that came out of working for this company was knowledge that no other job could possibly be as bad, or toxic as this one was.

Cons

-Toxic stressful environment fueled by unreasonable senior management expectations of a completed workload. - Bullying and harassment from senior management - Bullying claims ignored by HR - Deliberate false and misleading information regarding contracts, FWC and salary given by HR - Expectation of unrewarded overtime. - the gender pay gap is very real within this company. - The salary was extremely low considering the level of training, hours, and expectations that are placed on you. - The people who are the most competent at their jobs are the ones who are given the most amount of work and creates uneven task allocation. -High staff turnover -Unprofessional hiring of friends over appropriately experienced genuine candidates

Pros

I cannot think of any except the chance to take time for myself when no work

Cons

Mgmt who do not know legal set up of transcription, very suspicious contractual set up, unpaid superannuation, nasty HR and young girls in top jobs with no clue as to what they’re doing. This company lost a 25 year contract and all their superior staff and the trust of a few big clients who have gone to other suppliers. I was embarrassed to be part of the idiocy. Transcripts are sent late, even sent to wrong lawyers, mistakes in transcript went unchecked and errors ineork was abundant.

Pros

It's a job. It pays.

Cons

Very small team in Sydney (mostly due to Covid). Absolutely toxic co-worker/trainer who is "mentally unstable and prone to psychotic attacks" (his own words). Bullying. Abuse via sms and Teams. Useless management. Useless HR (who not only failed to protect me from bullying but blamed me for putting in the complaint). Inconsistent training (do what I say. Ignore the style guide. Ignore everyone else's feedback). Goals only sprung on me after five months of being there. Performance reviews I wasn't invited to. Being the best transcription ever one week, the the worst the next. This place had me utterly broken and management didn't give a $%#$ - they blamed me and asked me whether I should be sacked. Worst employer ever.
