Pros

Flexibility. Turn up whenever you feel like it, leave when you feel like it with no accountability.

Cons

Where to start! Pay is poor, as is pension and opportunities. This is not a calibration company, business is only interested in growth and acquisitions. Staff often embedded into customer facilities are perform field work. As such, are exposed to the often better pay and conditions of the company they are contracted to. This inevitably leads to unhappiness/high turnovers. Business has no pay structure or progression/succession planning. Management are either ignorant or just unprofessional. HR and Quality are useless, information is more often incorrect, misleading or unprovided. At Trescal you are just a number, do not expect support, investment or any attempt at staff retention. Speaking of numbers, back to base turnaround times are embarressing. Expect to report missed, late or lost items to your customer constantly. These issues are usually brushed under the carpet and buried with other bad news or hidden within fudged KPI reports.

Pros

They are a good place if you want a stable career opportunity that is a STEPPING STONE. Somewhat decent 401K & insurance. Pet insurance is cool.

Cons

They don’t give two flying craps about you, they will keep you at the lowest pay possible for as long as you stay there. If you don’t speak up and fight for a raise or promotion they will forget about you and keep telling you that they are “working on it” for a bunch of people at the same time but will never do anything until you threaten to leave them for a different company. Their HR department doesn’t really care about your well being, they only care about keeping the people with money happy and the most senior employees can do whatever they want especially if you come in 1st shift and waste half your day talking to people. They ride the little guy into the dirt and make them sweat until they quit. Abusive management and extremely inappropriate meetings advising you to stay clear from HR because we “keep it in the family”. There is always feces on the toilet seats and there is a constant flow of people quitting or straight up not showing up for work any longer without notice due to the terrible work conditions.
