Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that your experience has been so challenging. While it’s good to know the team member discount is something you value, we recognise that concerns around leadership, team behaviour, and roster consistency can have a significant impact on the overall experience. At Supercheap Auto, we expect our stores to be safe, respectful workplaces where team members are supported, treated fairly, and rostered appropriately in line with their employment arrangements. Instances of ongoing conflict, lack of availability, or team members walking off shift do not align with our values or expectations. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. It helps reinforce the importance of strong leadership, accountability, and positive team culture across our stores, and we’ll continue to focus on developing leaders and environments where our team members feel supported and respected.

Pros

Supportive team and great workplace relationships. Developed leadership, customer service, retail, and automotive product knowledge. Easy and flexible annual leave process. Generous staff discounts on products.

Cons

Inconsistent hours — periods of minimal hours followed by being overworked with little work-life balance. Frequent weekend work and ongoing understaffing, often leading to higher workloads and expectations to do more with fewer resources. Safety policies can sometimes feel overly restrictive, making simple tasks more difficult than necessary. Limited long-term career progression beyond Store Manager, with the role carrying a significant workload and high risk of burnout.
