Pros

Thrive environment which allows you to work anywhere in the building or at home to ensure you work productively and to the best of your ability. The building. Generally, people are nice.

Cons

People in people leadership positions who have zero experience and its obvious that they are not being mentored correctly. Unfortunately the high turnover within HR, especially the recruitment team for the above mentioned. This team is toxic & rife with a bullying culture and has a bad reputation in the business and out in the external market. When good people have left, they have not been afforded the opportunity for an exit interview which speaks volumes about the inherent issues with the HR business partners and Executive as it shows a willingness to turn a blind eye to the problems. Unfortunately the values of Medibank are not lived within this team. For an experienced recruitment professional, I would think twice about accepting a role here as what is promised at interview is not reality. In addition to the above, the work load is extremely high with lack of experienced people in the team for support.

Pros

*Office in Melbourne is amazing. *Company is willing to spend money on new projects/initiatives *Positive culture *Good remuneration and benefits

Cons

*Still in transition from a government owned company *Hesitant to pull the trigger on activities without having several people within the hierarchy review (9+ individuals involved in order to send members a letter) *A lot of long term employees who are doing just enough to get by each day
