Pros

Free but very basic breakfast, staff lunches, good PC equipment

Cons

The place is full of lies. Development side of the business is increasingly dysfunctional and recent changes in management structure has precipitated further dysfunction. If you are a developer looking to advance your skills or interested in career progression then this is not the place for you. Our leadership seams to be disjointed and inexperienced. LEAP encourages heavy drinking outside of work by funding Friday with the hope of improving the culture by getting everyone drunk. If you are not heavy drinker there is not many options for you to progress your career. The development in LEAP is ad-hock and chaotic without clear direction. Forget about cooperation or listening to one another, once you are placed on the floor your opinion or voice will not be heard. All LEAP wants you to do is to sit in the corner and write code without asking questions. Stabbing each other backs, general lack of communication or understanding is normal here. The lack of direction from the board of LEAP is clearly evident across the company with people being left to do whatever they want. The management seams to be unaware of the low morale in the office. The development policy is quick and dirty which usually results in long and dirty due to ad-hock requirements and internal miscommunication. They attempt to cover up bad management by employing more staff without addressing the issue at head. The office is run down and dirty with a poorly equipped kitchen and play room…..what a joke! The salary is average and the bonuses are based on a ‘top 5’ system which makes some people incredibly overloaded yet others are spending days on social or news sites. Don’t be surprised if your top 5 frequently changes throughout the quarter.

Pros

LEAP is a company that truly invests in its employees. I have never worked somewhere that puts this much effort into sales training, coaching, and professional development. There is a real focus on helping people grow, improve, and succeed in their roles. The compensation and benefits are also some of the best in the industry. LEAP offers very competitive salaries, strong benefits, and a level of employee support that really stands out. The HR department is kind, caring, and responsive, and leadership genuinely cares about employees both professionally and personally. It is also exciting to work for a company that continues to be a true innovator in legal tech. The product is strong, the company keeps evolving, and there is a real sense of pride in helping law firms operate more efficiently and profitably.

Cons

The standards at LEAP are very high, and that can come with pressure. This is a company that cares deeply about performance, growth, and accountability, so you do feel the expectations. Even though there is not a lot of micromanaging, there is definitely a lot of visibility and oversight. The team culture can also be a little intimidating at first because there are a lot of polished, confident, high-performing people here. But in a way, that is also part of what makes the company exciting. You are surrounded by people who are sharp, driven, and really good at what they do, which pushes you to keep growing too.
