      COLLEGE GRADS BEWARE!!!! STAY FARRRR AWAYYYY - Recruiter Insight Global Employee Review

      None. How this sham of a company still in business is BEYOND my comprehension. If you are a recent college grad, HEED these words and STAY AWAY. DO NOT DO IT. They prey on new grads and promise empty hopes and dreams. They hire based on looks and if you seem like you are fun at a party. This job absolutely destroyed my mental health and the turn over rate is incredibly HIGH because they burn everyone out. It is a toxic churn and burn Greek life culture. If you’re a minute late, you get shamed in front of the office. Why do we need to be in a suit and heels to make 726393 phone calls? Be so for real right now. The amount of beyond unprofessional, and frankly illegal, things I witnessed in my time with IGI…. It’s truly insane they are still a company.

      We were required to do wall sits in heels if the board wasn’t updated. I was pulled aside 1 on 1 once because my “ponytail was too high”. I actually got in trouble for my PONY TAIL. I wish I were making this up. Most toxic “big happy family” culture of all time - and they KNOWWWW it. Just look at all the fake reviews they sprinkle nonstop on their glassdoor to try and drown out the real ones LOL. There isn’t enough therapy available to fix the workplace trauma I experienced and witnessed others experience. They will play office favorites and gossip. It’s worse than a high school cafeteria. There is 0 work life balance. Somehow the least important con is that the wages for recruiters are not livable and they are quite frankly offensive lol I could go on. Just trust me; don’t do it.

      Pros

      The individual contributors and the endless amounts of budget for campaigns tools and resources. A great place for marketing creatives looking to do just that, create.

      Cons

      Leadership served themselves, not their team. There's 0 structure with no marketing KPI measurement or revenue attribution to show the ROI. Everyone always seemed so busy but nothing was getting done to show the impact marketing had on the businesses bottom line. Not many wanted to do the work to build the department to any potential, half of marketing doesn't even work under marketing which promotes vast misalignment. Just resources begging to be used and a bleeding advertising budget. It has a ton of potential, but I watched the few who could have changed it all leave over the frustrations of leaders only concerned with their own self preservation.
