Pros

I wish I had something to share.

Cons

Owned by a holding company that has done so for 5 years. Site upper management has changed 3 times in 2 years. The company will promise compensation then try to withhold said compensation until the employee calls them to task and then they will try to not pay back owed wages. Moral is extremely low and its almost impossible for them to find and keep a viable workforce due to poor management, low pay and the extreme background checks required to work at the location. They do not offer much in way of employee development or career progression.

Good morning and thank you for taking the time to post such a detailed review. I´m sorry that you´re not having such a great experience at IDEMIA and that is why I´ve shared your comment with our management team in your location as well as with our leadership team. We realize that there is much more we can do to support our employees and develop their careers within the company. That is why we´re deploying a new global Employee Assistance Program as well as a few initiatives in terms of employee development - first global Career week, implementing a career framework to make the career conversation smoother, and step by step creating an internal marketplace to support the internal mobility by all the means. Unfortunately, all this doesn´t happen overnight, but we do believe in continuous improvement, and step by step we can make sure we provide a better employee experience than this. Please bear with us while we make this happen! Kind regards, we_care@idemia.com

Pros

Excellent work environment. Great internship program with speakers and activities. Great Work atmosphere. Very approachable to ask questions to superiors and management and other coworkers. I enjoyed the work I did. I love the "open door policy" when it comes to reaching out. Coworkers are amazing to work with.

Cons

Wished that the position was more technical/relevant to CS major. The initial training can be rough. First few weeks can be very confusing. The scope of responsibilities is not very clear, and they need to be learned over time. Sometimes there are scheduling gaps that can cause issues. The documentation is often lacking/outdated which can be difficult for someone who is new and does not know all the niche procedures.
