Pros
Team and Director are great people!
Cons
Management: While leadership may be personable, the operational management style creates a difficult environment. There is a tendency toward excessive micromanagement and a disconnect between stated goals and actual instructions, which undermines team confidence. Support & Availability: Leadership is frequently unavailable due to meeting overload. This leaves little capacity for team support. 1:1 meetings are rarely used for coaching or development; instead, they often focus on fault-finding and criticism. Agile Maturity: There is a struggle to commit to necessary changes. While workshops on Agile and People Management are attended, the concepts are rarely implemented long-term. Initiatives are often abandoned when they become challenging, and there is a resistance to adopting modern workflows in favor of maintaining the status quo.
