They provide a vehicle for travel with a gas card A lap top & company paid phone Work independently for the most part but lots of people available for help with questions Flexible with start and stop times most days Some nice folks to work with Had my own office
Cons
Lots of deadlines to meet with charting & billing If a resident passed away, the mortality review & death investigation becomes your #1 priority until it’s completed, pushing home visits and charting to #2. Gathering ALL the info for that review becomes stressful because house staff may not have really done ask there charting & it becomes the hunt for Red October at that point! Not all supervisors are trustworthy, supportive & nurturing & to ALL staff. You have to answer that phone 24/7/365!
