Pros

Under previous manager I was given a voice.l and confidence. His leadership and engagement gave me the opportunity to do things I had no idea I was capable of achieving.

Cons

Company only cares about nominating themselves for fake awards to post on social media. They never actually do the work. Female manager said ‘if you want to go down whichever career path I will fight for you’. Except never did that when came to her. They hire/promote people with zero experience for roles because they want to make themselves look good about hiring internally/diversity tick. Force staff to come up with initiative ideas, but you have to swing the idea like it was managers idea in the first place. Managers will make you do all work for idea, but they will take all the credit for the success. Second something goes wrong you get thrown under the bus and not supported. Management claims they are listening, but they only want to hear how great they are doing. The amount of bullying, backstabbing and talking horribly behind so many people’s backs created a toxic work environment that most people don’t like walking into the office. A tech was given hush money to stop going to Fair Trading and is on paid stress leave for 12months.

Pros

Working at BGIS as a Technical Support Specialist has been a great experience.Ive been with the company around 7 years. The team is supportive, management values hard work, and there are strong opportunities to learn and grow professionally. It’s a fast-paced environment that keeps every day interesting while allowing you to build valuable technical skills.

Cons

More overtime sometimes, but other than that none.

Pros

BGIS has been a really great place for me, especially since I was starting out in a totally new environment. From day one, everything felt fair - my manager looked at my actual qualifications, and I never felt judged or discriminated against during the hiring process or my first few weeks. Now that I’ve hit my first year, I can honestly say the team has been super supportive. They value teamwork, they encourage you to grow, and they’ve really helped me bring out what I can offer. It’s a good feeling when you know your team has your back. And the work‑life balance? Huge plus. Working from home has made things so much easier and more flexible. Overall, it’s been a great experience and a solid place to build my career.

Cons

I think it would support employee retention if the company introduced annual bonuses to recognize and reward well‑deserving employees.
