Pros

In general, people here are friendly and nice.

Cons

Absolutely terrible management with zero empathy or people skills. They believe threatening employees with termination is the best way to get work done. Management constantly looks for people to blame instead of taking accountability and actually coaching the team. Employees are treated like workhorses and made to churn out work with absolutely no praise or recognition for efforts. Turnover is high due to abysmal office culture and poor prospects of job advancement. Be prepared to have business rules change in front of your face every week with no proper documentation process. Then be prepared to take criticism for not knowing the business rules like the back of your hand. Utter neglect for "innovation" and technology as 10+ year old software still drives the business.

Pros

Working at BGIS as a Technical Support Specialist has been a great experience.Ive been with the company around 7 years. The team is supportive, management values hard work, and there are strong opportunities to learn and grow professionally. It’s a fast-paced environment that keeps every day interesting while allowing you to build valuable technical skills.

Cons

More overtime sometimes, but other than that none.

Pros

BGIS has been a really great place for me, especially since I was starting out in a totally new environment. From day one, everything felt fair - my manager looked at my actual qualifications, and I never felt judged or discriminated against during the hiring process or my first few weeks. Now that I’ve hit my first year, I can honestly say the team has been super supportive. They value teamwork, they encourage you to grow, and they’ve really helped me bring out what I can offer. It’s a good feeling when you know your team has your back. And the work‑life balance? Huge plus. Working from home has made things so much easier and more flexible. Overall, it’s been a great experience and a solid place to build my career.

Cons

I think it would support employee retention if the company introduced annual bonuses to recognize and reward well‑deserving employees.
