Professional and efficient HR team. From application to interview to verbal offer made, whole process took 2 weeks. Colleagues are some of most high performing and driven types i have worked with in my 10+ years of working life. Good work life balance with 1 day WFH arrangement per week. Very good compensation and benefits compared to other industries in Malaysia, but is not outstanding when benchmarked against competitors
Cons
Bureaucracy. Decisions take a very long time to be made as there are too many stakeholders involved. AIA can be brutal if you are an underperformer. Restructuring happened not long after i joined and my immediate supervisor was demoted and a new lead was installed. Lack of diversity. My whole team is made up exclusively of one race. Isn’t Malaysia supposed to be multicultural?
