Pros

- Great team, with friendly people from diverse cultures, which creates a rich and inclusive environment - Clear efforts from the HR team to foster a positive culture and regularly celebrate achievements - Strong support from my direct managers - A wide variety of work, which keeps things interesting and engaging

Cons

- BizCover recently decided to change its hybrid working model, moving from 3 days working from home to 2. This change was somewhat abrupt and not fully aligned with prior arrangements, requiring significant adjustments to my existing commitments. It has had a notable impact on how I perceive the company’s direction. While BizCover has consistently emphasised that people matter, I would appreciate greater consideration, as decisions like this can significantly affect people’s lives. - Regular periods of high workload and tight deadlines - Frequent interruptions when working in the office can make it challenging to focus on tasks that require sustained concentration

Collaborative environment but Sydney office requirements need review

Pros

1. People genuinely connect within their teams and across different departments, creating a collaborative and supportive environment. 2. Managers are approachable and open to new ideas, regardless of role or seniority. 3. There is very little sense of hierarchy, making it easy to communicate and contribute.

Cons

Sydney-based employees are required to work from office 3 days a week, while the business continues to hire remote employees for similar roles. It would be good to see greater consideration given to the time and financial costs associated with community for Sydney-based employees when reviewing workplace policies.

Great exposure to technology with supportive culture

Pros

Good exposure to technology, BizCover is open to adopting new tools and encourages experimentation. Supportive culture where you can take ownership of projects and grow your skills across different areas.

Cons

The move from two to three required in-office days felt somewhat unnecessary and a bit of a step backward for flexibility.
