Pros

It is a good company for only those who are working there for ages and can keep their monopoly and politics in a good pace.

Cons

Low caliber attitude towards working as a team. They really don't understant that everyone in the world is not a programmer and there are other skills necessary to make a good productive team. Two stupid project managers that think project management is a name of assigning tasks to others and these two project managers are fooling the company by gold plating the seniors. Infact every senior is gold plating other senior so they keep there jobs life time. Worst place to work. They don't have any values for employee opinions. Everyone is concerned to their own work only and don't come up on the idea of making things clear. Extra charging the clients. Can easily fire people from the company.

Pros

Well located Nothing else that I can remember

Cons

Bad management for starters - People in charge really lack people skills and other things. On boarding process lacks structure, support and clarity. Big communication problem. - Developers are not approachable, almost always with the look "don't bother me, here's a link, read this". Superiors when visiting client and you are allocated in the client, don't bother coming to say hi, it's like you are invisible. They try too hard to be cool, but they fail really hard. Low salary. - No matter how low you make an offer they will try to pay you even less. They tend to hire people that just arrived in the country and really need a job. They will pay you low salary but they will have really high performance expectations. Lack of team collaboration - people come in and don't say good morning, some not even when in the client site, pass by you without looking at your face. They make it really hard for you to get some help when you need some information. I have experienced sarcasm and bad jokes when needed help. Simple technology stack - Java and Spring in the back end. Didn't get exposure to the front end. Proprietary tools to learn - They have their own tools and way of doing things. You will have to follow some bad instruction, sometimes wrong information from some wiki pages to learn their way. Good luck getting some clarifications on what they are trying to achieve. No culture - They try to be cool, but maybe less than 1% is sociable. The culture is "I want to code and go home asap and don't come bother me". They prefer shy people, it was suggested to me during the interview. Be careful if you try to speak up about some internal issues. They are too proud of their own tool, they are too proud of their position and that comes from top, any other older developer will have the same behaviour. It was really a struggle since day one, didn't stay for too long, couldn't get help from my colleagues and management when most needed it. I had assumed a very difficult position acting in a different role, tried hard to perform and help the company, had nothing but sarcasm and more pressure.

Company with no professionalism when it comes to work

Pros

Free coffee is a great thing if you are into coffees. Some people are friendly which makes it good at times.

Cons

Tiny company with no aims and objectives. Not much to learn as an employee. The company management needs to feel more confident about themselves.

Based on the timing and content of this comment it is likely coming from someone that was let go during probation rather than from someone who has been here for some time. Part of their role was to help re-evaluate the current market. Being a small company our strength is that we are flexible and dynamic, allowing us to change our product to meet insurance software needs. It is important that we keep up to date and shift our priorities where required.
