After 15 days hr asked for a quick screening round which is scheduled around 10:30 PM , ( The employee is an Indian working from US)
Asked about the project details, Explained them in detail.
Not a single technical question.
And then again the asked for another discussion as there was a power cut after 28th min ( Interview was scheduled for 30 min).
Another round of 45 min of discussion, Again no technical question , Discussion was around project and technologies used etc.etc..
Not sure what she was looking or trying to extract.
Thought is waste of time

I applied online. I interviewed at Yahoo (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2025
Interview
I applied online and gone through an initial phone screen. After the phone screen was when I got my first interview with the hiring manager to go through my overall work experience. I had to wait a week & half to then get set up with calls with 2 other leads (accounts & sales). Both of those were fast and easy with general questions on how I would handle client expectations and overall service from a programmatic standpoint.
2-3 weeks in, I have been ghosted by the HR with no replies back to only be sent a rejection email. I felt very disgusted as there is no professionalism from the HR rep and also all my interviews with the team were prompt and felt positive to only hear I was declined.
Few days later, I saw the role open up again which is beyond confusing. All in all, poor practice across the entire team.
