Water Corporation interview questions

I applied for the position. Got email from HR after 3 weeks. She called me and scheduled me for panel interview. Prepared and went for the interview. There were 3 panels who were nice and on time. They typed my answers on their laptop. Typical background questions and STAR questions. Then I also asked them questions afterwards. Took half an hour. Then they told me if I have other questions just contact their HR. It’s been almost 5 days and I haven’t heard anything. They mentioned they were also interviewing other candidates within the week. I had to email the HR just to find out the result. Turns out they have progresses with another candidate. Very incompetent, won’t even tell me the result where in fact the HR was so eager for me to go for an interview. Not recommendable. Very unprofessional.

This happened a few years ago, so hopefully it's changed. I have just now been able to talk about my experience. The worst interview I have had in my entire career, I was interviewed by two leads, neither bothered to get up to greet me when I walked in. One person yawned without covering their mouth as I was talking. Both incredibly rude, looking bored and going through the motions. Clearly, they didn't want to be there or had decided I was not worth their time. Their attitude reflected the general vibe as soon as I walked through the door - an overall malaise that was palpable. As soon as I walked out of the interview room, they both burst out laughing. Extremely unprofessional behaviour from senior people, and not sure how they thought it was completely acceptable. Never experienced anything like it. Would not recommend working there to anyone except if everyone were fired and they started over.
