Interview
My overall experince is actually positive + negative = neutral
1. I did the Knock Knock puzzle which you can find online.
2. Almost 2 hrs technical skype interview with one of the lead consultans which is the postive experince part. After a breif introductory about what they are doing questions started with basic .NET and OOP knowledge. Questions about hi-level architecture followed the basic concept questions. In the end the coding (bug fix) session placed which was expected to take 20 mins but took 40mins. After the coding part interviewer gave some helpful feedbacks about what I did right/wrong. At the time I felt like heard more negative feedbakcs than the positive ones and thought it did not go well but after 1 hr I received an email saying I passed the technical interview and next step would be the cultural interview. The feedbacks were also taking place in the email along with some book recommendations for me to read which was perfect. Thank you again!
3. Cultural interview with one of Talent Acquisition Managers which is the negative part. The questions were typical hr questions which you can found any where on the internet. After a few questions the hr person was obviously not interested in me. At least she could hide it and pretend as she was. After some point she started to misspell my name and by the end of the interview she was calling me a totally new name she made up. In the she told me that she will be writing feedbacks in ine or two days as the tech lead which I never expected and actually never received. At the sixth day I emailed to the coordinator person about the result of the last interview and got a standart response without any real reason in it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is GC? What is IDisposable? Why do we need IDisposable while we are having GC?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Readify (Brisbane) in Feb 2019
Interview
1. Online test: Knock Knock challenge
2. Live Coding test: via Skype, I was given a problem to solver from scratch within 30 mins.
3. Technical Interview: 2 interviewers (one shadowing) and it lasts for 1.5hrs
When I started reading the reviews before applying for this role I thought that those who rated it as negative experience were a bit upset for not getting passed a certain stage, until I experienced it myself. However I am not going to rate it as negative because they have their right to define their own hiring process. Now the question you should be asking is if you want to work for a company like this.
Yes I do believe that if they don't like your face you won't get passed a certain stage. it does depend on who your interviewer is unfortunately.
Additionally, I got asked somewhere between 10 and 15 questions in the technical interview, and as I said I did not mind because it's their process. However the feedback and the reasons they give you for not hiring you tells a lot of what kind of environment they work in. You need to answer 20 questions exactly in the way which they want to hear. You would get feedback such as, your answer was correct but.... and there it goes. and by the way that answer won't count. I actually didn't get a single answer wrong, it just that the "why" didn't match theirs, or it was 'articulated' differently.
That doesn't necessarily meant that it is a bad environment, I mean according to whom? some developers might be OK with such an environment and I am sure there are some "Readifians" who are happy to be there. My personal opinion is that I prefer to work in an environment where my opinion and the way I view things matters and can be different. I believe that innovation is born in such environment.
I am actually really grateful that I did not get an offer, I wouldn't have lasted a week in there tops.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Readify (Perth, Western Australia) in Sept 2016
Interview
Whole process is mix of Automated and Manual
First part is Knock Knock WCF coding test, need to develop the WCF service, host it in cloud and provide the End point in the Readify portal and automated tests against the end point will happen in the background and it will report the score. Once we get significant score, Online wizard will ask to submit our code, once code is submitted, next step is to schedule the interview (date and slot to be selected by candidate !!! :-)) One of the principle consultant will be assigned for Interview session and candidate will be immediately notified about the Interviewer.
Interview will be of technical + debugging exercise, Technical interview will be purely based on the skills that the candidate is comfortable with, Once after the technical interview, a C# console application will be given to candidate with multiple bugs in it and candidate should fix it in 20-30 minutes.
Very positive thing about readify is the feedback system.
Readify consultants are very professional in giving feedback, even if candidate doesn't meet their requirement, instead of just giving a standard "sorry at this time" response, they take time to write a detailed report about all the positive aspects they like about candidate and the improvement areas that they feel about the candidate and also they suggest how those improvements can be made (e.g recommending specifics books, etc).
given a code snippets of 3 different css styles applied on a control and question what will be the appearance of the control (to check which css style will be applied)
