Interview
Seems quite dishonest and unorganised.
Nobody shown up to my first round interview or emailed me about why, so I had to contact them. I was told I could reschedule, which I considered not bothering with, but wanted to give them a chance.
10 minutes before the rescheduled interview, was told it's not happening now as they've chosen not to hire the role.
It's still being advertised on the careers page, so who really knows.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Procreate in Sept 2023
Interview
Very lovely interview. The recruiter knows how to get the best out of applicants and I was able to elaborate on my history, and the recruiter said they can sense my passion. I passed the first interview. But the recruiter said that after the checking with the developers, they were unable to take on a junior engineering role at the time due to undertaking a major product release. So they ended up unlisting the role from their site. However, the recruiter passed on my profile for another role that might be suitable at the same company, so I had a second interview booked with a different role. I did not follow through due to other unrelated external factors in my own life, but I much appreciated it.
