KOOKAI Retail Sales Associate interview questions

Applied on the website, received a call from a store manager with a quick 10 minute chat, then did a trial at the store. The trial was 3 hours and a paid, and worked in all parts of the store (fitting rooms and greeting). The experience was overall fun and I felt supported by the manager who had invited me to trial.

It was ok, very causal at a cafe. She asked me why I wanted to work for Kookai and what experience I had. At this point I had 0 retail experience and she said come back with some, I said how am I meant to get it if everyone wants experience already, she said start somewhere basic. I said my knowledge of fashion and passion for customer service makes up for my lack of experience. she then told me to have a trial which was awful. nobody was welcoming and they pretty much let me run the floor by myself
