The interview process was thorough and well-structured, allowing me to showcase my skills and experience. The team was professional and made me feel comfortable throughout each stage. While the process was extensive, I appreciated the opportunity to connect with various stakeholders and gain a deeper understanding of the role and company culture. Overall, I believe the interview process was an accurate reflection of the company's commitment to finding the right fit for this position.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at DiUS Computing (New York, NY)
Interview
I applied as a mid-level Engineer and they assessed me for Senior Engineer interview. Already told HR I was applying for mid-level role. I was surprised there was no coding test. I spent zero hours impressing them because I had no time. My project demo was a rewrite project of a 2014 site I launched.
The systems design questions were too general. There are no correct answers other than "it depends." I used the correct terms. We don't call a slave DB for Redis. It's an instance copy/replication.
Received no feedback.
I wanted to join this company long-term but apparently now I have to go back to zero and find a better one. No feedback isn't good.
Their senior Engineer was OK. Asked better questions. Less general ones.
Hi there,
We have streamlined our processes to adapt to the changing market conditions, and appreciate this experience hasn't been ideal for you. We work hard to ensure all candidates receive feedback, regardless of the result of the interviews, so I would love it if you could send me an email (recruitment@dius.com.au) with your details and we will reach out to you immediately.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at DiUS Computing (Melbourne) in Sept 2020
Interview
The recruiter did not even remember to call, I had to call her. After calling she barely had any answers to my questions. I was perfect for the role (according to her) but still got the rejection without any feedback. Lousy HR.
They don't respect the employee. Don't recommend this company.
