Somewhat informal but good experience. They were kind and communicative. The two interviewers seemed like great people to work with and a positive work environment. No difficult questions, it was more personality based.
Interviewed for people, including hiring manager. Interviewed one risk consultant and two HR personnel overall interview was good not super high intensity. Would recommend preparing by researching the role and asking plenty of questions.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chubb (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process is pretty standard. The recruiter will schedule a date and time for a preliminary interview before speaking with management then they will schedule an interview if they want to proceed with your application. I have spoken with a 2-3 different recruiters with Chubb in the past for different positions, they have all mostly been really pleasant and knowledgeable. I only had one recruiter recently that really wasn’t helpful or understanding at all and she was short and it felt rushed like she wanted to get me off the phone and get the interviews out of the way. She didn’t seem knowledgeable of the position or the requirements and she was quick to shoot down questions. She also seemed unaware of basic geography and told me that even though it was a remote position I had to have my address in a specific city without realizing that my address was just in another surrounding city very close and there would no reason at all to relocate. Plus it was a 100% remote position which I find even more odd. She seemed unwilling to acknowledge this. I am unsure if it was just her or if it was actually Chubbs guidelines as a company, which leads me to speculate that maybe Chubb as a whole is still not fully open to remote work even in this day and age. Regardless of that particular recruiter, I hope next time I interview for a position in the future that I get a better recruiter. In addition to my own personal experience I had a friend who the recruiter lied to about the reason why she didn’t get the position and then later back tracked and told her the truth on another call a couple months later. This to me seems shady because I feel that in a professional environment you should be given honest feedback.
