Anytime Fitness Group Fitness Instructor interview questions

Somebody (whose initials or job title I may not mention due to Glassdoor’s policy) called and purported to offer a job in response to having applied through SEEK. They scheduled a Zoom interview which lasted for 45 minutes which consisted of them trying to sell me a “Development Program” for $1000. This would be a prerequisite “guaranteeing” a job at Anytime Fitness Randwick. The interaction was unprofessional to say the least. I believe it could reasonably be construed as a legal scam. (Oh, and there was the illegal part too - where they insinuated that were I to pay the $1000 they would sign off on work experience [that they wouldn’t require me to really do] required for Certificate 4.
