What’s the most memorable advertisement you’ve ever seen? As a kid I remember Apple’s Super Bowl add where the lady throws the hammer through the screen. As an adult I remember the Coinbase QR code during the supper bowl. But my all time favorite is the Corona Christmas ad. Corona is one the brands I work with and there is a Feliz Navidad add where a palm tree lights up in the end. Any guess on when it first started? The one Nike did with Bo Jackson. It was about their cross training shoes so they showed him doing every sport well. I loved that when I was watching it I forgot that it was a commercial, it was just pure entertainment.
That ad’s so peaceful. It feels like a calm holiday hug. The QR code one was genius too, minimal but memorable. What makes an ad “great” to you? I remember watching it as a kid, not even realizing it was an ad.
