Registered Veterinary Technician salaries in Australia

Hello, I’m 21 and have ZERO work experience, but I have shadowed a vet tech. I want to get my career started by working in entry-level friendly areas, but I don’t know how. I am willing to learn and improve as I go, but I am having a hard time getting jobs because I have never really had one. What do I do?

Hi everyone, since I've joined the world of works I was always based in a office setting doing data entry, processing documents,etc. However, it was always my dream to be a veterinarian and id like to explore that field. I have a little experience with caring for animals and im willing to start at an entry level, even if that means starting as a receptionist.

I've been a veterinary assistant for almost 5 years now. It's been my passion and loved it. But now I'm going through health issues and the place is becoming toxic I can feel it. I've been wanting to leave now, im wanting to quit vet med, or take a break and do it part time. but can't find anything. Everywhere is hiring but nothing is getting back to me. I literally applied to everything from front desk, host at restaurant, janitorial.i really want to leave my job now, but want a job before I do

I am a veterinary assistant trying to break into corporate advertising. I graduated in 2023 with a B.A. in philosophy, completed a COOP fellowship with their digital marketing track in 2025, attended several networking events just to have so many roadblocks in my way. I am trying to work in downtown Chicago-my absolute dream! It's been so disheartening that I feel so stuck at my current job just surviving.
