Project Manager Construction salaries in Australia

Super senior associate (10PQE) just told in no uncertain terms that I have no future at the firm and will not be promoted to counsel/partner. It’s not exactly a situation where I’m being pushed out actively because I broached the topic but clearly it isn’t going to work out for me. Any advice on how to navigate job searching while still needing to do the work?

I’m looking for some advice from anyone in business development or sales. I spent the last 4 years working in residential construction as a Construction Manager and am currently a Project Engineer. I recently graduated with a Business Administration degree and have been wanting to transition into a more business development or account management role. My challenge is that I don’t have direct sales experience and all jobs require a couple years experience. Any advice?

Hi everyone, I’d like your advice. I worked in concrete construction until March of this year and then started my own small concrete business. As a sole member it’s really difficult to run the entire operations,now I’m looking to return to work as a Superintendent . Do you recommend adding my self-employed experience (running my own concrete company) to my résumé to cover the employment gap, or is it better to leave it out?
